Product Description

R Type Check Valve is also an all position check valve, as the assembly can be done on horizontal, vertical ascending or descending position.

Type R check valves are unidirectional valves that are used to prevent backflow in high pressure environments during drilling and production. They can be found in kill lines on the Christmas tree or after the manifold.

Enerpal products manufactures R-Type Check Valves that feature a compact and simple design that's perfect for manifold assemblies. Available in sizes from 1-13/16" through 4-1/16" and working pressures from 2,000 PSI to 15,000 PSI.

  • Used to control fluid flow and pressure at the Wellhead and Christmas tree equipment
  • Manage drilling fluid flow and pressure on high-pressure kill manifolds
  • Used to prevent backflow in oil and gas pipelines and kill lines
