Long Sweep Swivel Joints

Product Description

Long sweep swivel joints are designed for high-pressure applications, particularly in demanding environments like oil and gas, and offer superior flow characteristics compared to standard swivel joints. They feature an extra-long radius elbow that minimizes pressure drop and turbulence, resulting in smoother fluid flow and reduced wear. These joints are often used in high-pressure lines handling abrasive materials, such as fracturing, cementing, and choke-and-kill lines.

These joints are designed generally from 6000 PSI CWP to 15,000 PSI CWP, both for standard and sour service and ensure better flow characteristics. Smooth and round bore design keeps pressure drop low and minimizes turbulence.

These joints are typically manufactured from carbon steel or low alloy steel and may undergo heat treatment for enhanced hardness. 

They are available with various end connections, including threaded, integral wing union, and beveled for welding, and may incorporate features like high nitrile packing and brass rings.
