API 16A clamps and hubs offer an alternative dynamic method of joining wellhead parts. The clamps use the same size and pressure ranges as API 6A flanges.

Product Description

API 16A Clamps and Hubs offer an alternative dynamic method of joining wellhead parts. The clamps use the same size and pressure ranges as API 6A flanges but only require four bolts to form the joint, meaning that they are smaller, lighter and easier to install.

Any of the equipment in the following list may have clamp hub connections:

  • Wellhead Equipment: Casing Heads , Casing Spools , Tubing Heads , Gate Valves , Choke Valves , Crosses and Tees , Flowlines
  • Drilling Equipment: Spools , Blowout Preventers , Choke Manifolds , Kill Manifolds
  • Manifold Systems: Mud Systems (Pump to Standpipe), Oil and Gas Production , High Pressure Supply Lines

API 16A Clamps allow faster and easier make up. Where limited space requires, clamp orientation adjustment allows easy access to nuts and bolts. Clamp connections have 360° infinite adjustability.Enerpal API 16A Clamps provide a reliablemeans to join API and other hub connections.
