Product Description
FL & FLS gate valves which provided by Enerpal feature a non-rising stem with a slab gate, floating seat design to provide safe dependable service. A position indicator mechanism can also be added to show the position status of the valve.It is available in flanged ends in standard bore sizes from 1-13/16" to 7-1/16" in working pressures of 2,000 psi to 20,000 psi. API 5B threaded end connection ports such as LP, EUE, NUE, etc. are also applicable.
The Enerpal model FL & FLS Gate Valve is a field-proven valve which provides reliability and interchangeability. FL & FLS gate valves can be suitable for use in wellhead and x-mas trees, choke manifolds, kill manifolds, choke and kill lines, wellhead fracturing valves, etc. due to their unique structure.In x-mas trees, it can be used as lower master valve, upper master valve, wing valve and swab valve.
Enerpal can provide a wide range of body and trim materials to meet various operating conditions. The FL & FLS gate valves can be operated not only manually, but also hydraulically, pneumatically and electrically, depending on the actual requirements.
Features of FL & FLS Gate Valves
Full-Bore Thru-Conduit Design
- Maximizes valve service life.
- Eliminates the collection of destructive particles.
- Backpressure valves(BPV) can be delivered and picked up.
Floating Slab Gate and Seats
- Produces a positive pressure energized seal.
- Body pressure equalizes across the seat, eliminating body erosion in the seat pockets.
- One piece gate helps to prevent line sediment from entering the body cavity and prevents pressure locks when the upstream pressure drops.
Metal-to-Metal Seals
- Body/bonnet interface, gate/seat interfaces, body/Seat interface.
- Gate and seat are overlaid with Tungsten Carbide(TC).
- Valve bodies and bonnets are forged steel.
In-line Repairability
- Seat, gate and stem are easily replaced in the field.
Metal-to-Metal Backseat
- Replacing stem packing under pressure.
Bleeder function
- Fluid and pressure trapped in the valve cavity can be relieved.
Long Life, Low Maintenance
- Simple routine maintenance program limits repairs, eases operation, protects again.
